OPaL is inviting applications for a total of 80 seats across various locations including Dahej, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Delhi. The apprenticeship is for a fixed period of one year.
Eligibility Criteria for OPaL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
To ensure your application is successful, you must meet the following strict eligibility requirements:
1. Educational Qualifications

Trade Apprentices: Must possess a Trade Certificate in the respective trade (AOCP, Fitter, Electrician, or IMCP) recognized by SBTE, GCVT, or NCVT.

Graduate Apprentices: Must hold a full-time B.B.A., B.Com, or Bachelor’s degree in IT from a recognized university (UGC/AICTE).

Year of Passing: Candidates must have acquired their essential qualifications in the year 2022 or later.

Exclusions: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training elsewhere or have more than one year of post-qualification job experience are not eligible.
2. Age Limit (As of 15.05.2026)

Minimum Age: 18 Years.

Maximum Age: 24 Years.

Birth Date Range: Candidates must be born between 15.05.2002 and 15.05.2008.

Relaxations: SC/ST candidates get a 5-year relaxation, while OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates receive a 3-year relaxation. PwBD candidates are eligible for up to 10–15 years of relaxation depending on their category.
3. Domicile Requirements
Candidates can only apply for a specific centre if they are a resident (domicile) of or have obtained their qualification from the eligible districts for that work centre. For all Gujarat locations (Dahej, Vadodara, Ahmedabad), applicants from any district in Gujarat are eligible.
Monthly Stipend and Benefits : OPaL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act:

ITI Trade Apprentices (2-year duration): ₹10,560 per month.

Graduate Apprentices (B.Com/BBA/IT): ₹12,300 per month.
Note: OPaL will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during the training, but candidates must arrange their own accommodation and travel.

Selection Methodology
