Work Experience for

The Bank has also stated that candidates must submit appropriate experience certificates/job profiles. If the declared job profile does not substantially match the required Scale-I officer profile, the candidature may be rejected.
Local Language Proficiency
Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State for which they apply. Proficiency means the ability to read, write, speak and understand the specified local language.
Candidates shortlisted through the online examination may have to appear for a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). However, candidates who produce a 10th or 12th standard certificate/marksheet showing that they studied the specified local language as a subject will not be required to take the LPT.
Bank of Baroda LBO Salary 2026
The Local Bank Officer post falls under JMG/S-I scale. The basic pay scale mentioned in the notification starts at ₹48,480 and progresses through the prescribed increments up to ₹85,920. In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will receive applicable allowances, benefits, perquisites and other facilities according to Bank policies and the applicable banking-sector settlements. Candidates having one year or more of qualifying officer experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank will be granted one advance increment, as specified in the notification.
Probation Period
Selected candidates will remain on probation for 12 months of active service from the date of joining the Bank.
Service Bond
Selected candidates are required to execute a service bond according to the Bank’s prevailing policies. The notification states that the current bond requires the candidate to serve the Bank for a minimum of three years, or pay an amount equivalent to three months’ gross salary, subject to a maximum of ₹2 lakh, if leaving before completion of the required service period.
